Editing Version Number String

Add a Status Label in the Status Bar called tsslVersion, and insert this code in the form's Load handler:

        ' Show Version string in Status Strip
        Dim Versiontext As String = ""
        If My.Application.IsNetworkDeployed Then
            Versiontext = "V" & My.Application.Deployment.CurrentVersion.ToString & "n"
        Else
            Versiontext = "V" & System.Reflection.Assembly.GetExecutingAssembly().GetName().Version.ToString & "i"
        End If
        ' Add to status bar
        tsslVersion.Text = Versiontext

The character "n" indicates it was "network deployed" (Click-Once); the character "i" indicates "Installer" used.
